Our Foundation’s idea of investing in education and in health status of girls and women to improve our country’s future prospects matches the engagement of other outstanding projects and persons in The Gambia. Here are some of them, and we do hope, you will like them:
Daughters of Gambia

Educating a girl is key – that’s the summary of that brave project headed by Adama Jarju and Vincent Benedict. Daughters of Gambia runs a female football academy where 40 talented girls from different communities are registered.

The girls get empowered by learning values and standing up for them, like self-respect, respect for one another, appreciation of one another, good leadership, and taking responsibility for an independent life.
Thus, they grow up as girls with strong self-confidence who can achieve whatever they want for their lives – and this will help to set an end to GFM and child marriage in our country. Keep it up, Adama & Vincent!
Ebrima S. Bah

Ebrima S. Bah is Senior Manager of “Health and Education Gambia/ Gesundheit undBildung Gambia e.V.”.
Ever since Ebrima – or Rise, as we call him – came to our clinic for the first time, he is a most welcomed guest: He fulfilles his duties as linkman between our foundation and partnering “Health and Education Gambia Charity” always very trustworthy, correct, complete and in time.
Additionally, he serves as a competent project manager for any given project we set up with his charity. Our volunteers rely on him as an adviser, driver and guide, as he has a large knowledge of our country, it’s people and places. Thank you, Rise, for working with us.
