December: Wheelchair for Awa
Awa is challenged with mobility difficulties due to a car accident. Still she never gives up walking as much as possible. But sometimes, she has to manage longer ways, for instance to school. Therefore Gesundheit und Bildung Gambia donated a wheelchair for her. Great relieve – Thank you very much!

Today, we proudly announce to be chosen Second Winner in the “Social Engagement & Education” category of German Afrika! Community Award 2019 sponsored by MoneyGram.
The jury’s decision was made in favour of our idea to increase Gambia’s wealth by focusing on basic needs of the most vulnerable: pregnant women in need of a save, hygienic and affordable environment for birthing, and girls from disadvantaged families in need of good housing, education and health service.

June: Kunkujang Keitaya School awarding Letter of Appreciation
At the beginning of summer holidays, the School extended it’s appreciation towards Fatou Gaye and our clinic for providing charge-free first aid treatment to pupils. Our clinic is proud to be part of children’s educational courses to become strong members of our society.
